FORMATTING FOR ARTICLES AND IMAGES FOR SUBMISSION ( .pdf)

Articles
- Microsoft Word document is preferable to all other text-editing programs or sending as text in an email.
- Single spaced
- All articles must be word-wrapped. No hard carriage returns at the end of each line. Carriage returns only at the end of paragraphs.
- 1,500 words maximum
- DO NOT SUBMIT ANY CONTENT IN ALL CAPS. It will be sent back with a request to have the piece retyped as upper and lower case and resubmitted.
- Spell checked.
- Include a suggested title for the piece and the date it was written.
- Include your full name and address, phone and email with each submission.
- Attach your Word file in an email, or upload to our MPG ftp site. (ftp site info is below). Send email submissions to the editor: stacy@marinpetgazette.com
- If uploading to our ftp site, please notify the managing editor with the file name and when it was uploaded: james@marinpetgazette.com
Images (photos and illustrations)
- 300 dpi resolution.
- Tiff format is preferred. Jpeg is acceptable. PDF’s only as a last resort.
- Color or grayscale is acceptable. RGB or CYMK is fine for color format.
- Submit on CD disk, through the email as an attachment, or upload to our ftp site. (ftp server and access info is below). Send email submissions to the editor: stacy@marinpetgazette.com
